History

To go into detail of Beowulf Thormears entire history, would be an over-bearing read for this Bio. His death alone, took nearly 45 pages. I'll cover the main points of Beos history, including his drug addiction, two marriages and two deaths (prior to his final). Perhaps one day, a full, detailed history will be written.

Beowulf was born in the City of Trinsic. His father was a Noble Paladin and his mother worked in a mage shop. He spent his childhood studying in mage shops and running errands for alchemists. The nickname "Hummer" was developed, because, despite the bitter comments of his peers, he consistantly hummed while reading.

In his preteen years, Beowulf started to tamper with Necromancy. He studied it secretly, for fear of the lashings his father would give him. Over the years, as his skills in basic magery grew, so did his basic skills in Necromancy. It was in his last years as a teen, that his father caught him practicing Necromancy. He was banished from his home and the City.

Leaving his sir name -Beowulf Thormear- behind, he continued on in his new life, as Hummer. The next ten or so years were a blur. Beo began endulging in heavy amounts of ale, and smoked an abundance of nightshade.

After years of travelling alone, "Hummer" came across an Order in Dark Cove. The leader at the time, Mave, was eager to have a new Necromancy in their ranks. Impressed with the military and the Order itself, "Hummer" joined without a second guess. Shortly after, the founder, Tarothin, began leading the Dark Order.

"Hummers" drug abuse carried on. After so many years of smoking nightshade, he had truly believed that he was someone else. He was convinced, that he was the King of an Underworld, that he once murdered a Paladin who haunted his thoughts, and that he had a daughter.

Shortly after joining the Dark Order, "Hummer" met a handy-woman named Tatiana. He was unliked any other woman he had met before. She worked as hard as any man he'd ever met, and she was as tender as any woman. During the beginning of their relationship, the Order of the Ebon Skull, had made sure on several occasions, that Tati was the victim of tortures. This was all due to a recruit they were iniating, that she had once loved. This would be the start of a rivalship between a priest named Darrien Church and "Hummer", for years to come.

It was shortly after "Hummer" was dating Tatiana, that he revealed his real name, Beowulf Thormear. He explained how he believed he was the ruler of an Underworld. Tati loved him all the same. Despite all the nightmares the drug inhabited man would have, she assumed his stories were true.

The two married. Shortly after, they had a child, named Grigori. The child was born drow, due to a ritual the orcs had done on Tatiana during her pregnancy. It wasn't long after the child was born, that Beowulf started smoking large amounts of nightshade again.

For sometime, Beowulf believed he heard voices of a Paladin he once killed. In a crafty, clever way, he rigged a guillotine to cut off his own head. After his suicide, Beowulfs soul carried on. It's not completely understood how such a thing happened, but Beowulf was miraculously resurrected.

With new life, Beo had a new approach. He felt all the doings of his leader, Tarothin, were the wrong ones. He felt some how fused, to his noble paladin blood. He felt the need to be chivalrous and invoke virtues. It was soon after his resurrection, that Beowulf left the Dark Order.

Thanks to one of Beos closest friends, Phyrra, he joined the Legion of Justice, led by Vaen Swiftar. He served his best years in the Legion, where he became friends with people who would stay with him for the remaining years of his life.

Clean and sober, Beowulf needed a new way of living "wildly". During his time in the Legion, Beo had an affair with a fellow soldier, Ceinwyn Ab'Arawn. His and Tati's marriaged ended shortly after, as did his time with Ceinwyn. During this time Beo had a falling out with his dear friend Vaen, and the Legion of Justice.

It wasn't long until Beo was back with the Legion. Sadly, the crew packed it in. Beo found his way to an allied guild, the Moonglow Town Council. Immediately after joining, he found himself at the top of the council. For sometime Beowulf served in the Moonglow Town Council.

Years after serving with the Council, Beo found himself in need of another adventure. He joined soldiers in the Felucia facet and faught many dangerous battles. Beowulf was killed during a brutal battle.

Many thought this was truly the end of Beowulf. His son, Grigori, saught to bring his father back. With the help of a mysterious mage, the young man resurrected his father. It was Beos closest friend, Vaen Swiftar, that found him at his gravesite.

After recovering, Beowulf revealed himself to the world again. The Legion of Justice would make its come back. This however, was short lived. Beowulf, once again, returned to Moonglow.

It was during this era that Beowulf helped make Moonglow one of the strongest forces in Sosaria. He commanded the Council and helped command the Military. During this time, Moonglow reigned as champions in each tournament. Their military, was often uncontested.

While Beowulf was one of Moonglows leaders, a soldier woman in Umbra, Audrina, saught out a devious plan. She requested to be trained by Beowulf. In returned, she betrayed him, placing a bracelet upon his wrist. The bracelets effects had Beowulf fall deeply in love with the woman. Her plan however, back fired on her. In his forced lust, Beo slipped a potion into one of Audrina's drinks. She fell head over heels for the wizard, for a twenty-four hour period. In this period of time, he had them married. With a binding that could literally, only be broken in death. The couple had twin daughters, an adopted son, and twin sons.

During Beos reign in Moonglow, a dangerous substance was harvested on the Island known as Blackrock. Due to the effects of the Blackrock, people often changed their personality's. Beo had an urge to rule, and a thirst for power that he hadn't had in years. In this time of weakness, he joined the upcoming Empire created by Tarothin. He was once again, apart of the Dark Order. Some of his closest friends found themselves at his side, Mave, Vaen, Spawn, and his apprentice, Rinartican.

Away from the Island of Moonglow, the effects of the Blackrock wore off. Beowulf realized where he had ended up. The Empire had taken over Minoc and Vesper. Beo quickly arranged a deal with Tarothin, and he put himself in charge of Vespers well being. Shortly after, Vaen approached him with an offer. An offer he couldn't refuse.

The two worked together around the clock. They organized a revolt, soldiers called to their side. Old friends once again armed themselves, and new ones came to their cause. Secretly, they slowly began breaking Minoc and Vesper safely away from the Empires grasp. In a quick movement, the two disabled the Empire from the inside out and forced Tarothin and his remaining army back into Dark Cove.

Beowulf and Vaen created the Northern Republic. It was short lived, for the two couldn't bring themselves to sitting behind desks and writting paper work. They signed an agreement with Moonglow, giving their lands to the Island, and absorbed themselves into the Council.

Once again, Beowulf found himself in Moonglow. He worked quietly behind the scenes this time. Beo tried to focus more on his family. One of his daughters died from a terrible decease. During his time with the Empire, Audrina had another daughter, Braelyn. She was the apple in Beos eye.

With one daughter dead and his twin sons studying else where, Beo tried to focus on his remaining family. His first son, Grigori, seemed nearly forgotten to him. Braelyn went missing and was presumed dead. Audrina, shortly after, went missing. Beo had assumed she'd left him, or found herself dead as well. His last daughter, Atira, went to seek out his other lost daughter. She was killed as well.

Beowulf was left with his adopted son Tay. Who would, undoubtedly, inherit all of his fathers belongings. Beo, by now, had become an extremely gifted wizard. Years had stacked up on him, and he had studied every type of magic Sosaria had to offer.

Once again, Vaen came to him with an offer. Their brethern, Mave, had request help in a far off land called Lysoria. The two left Moonglow behind, and ventured off to help their comrade. The trio faced off against an army of pyromancers. Beowulf and Mave were brutally killed by a daemon the pyromancers had summoned. While Vaen and the Lysoria militia defeated the daemon. Seconds before Vaen was brutally killed, he managed to shove three explosion potions into the daemons mouth.

The three were named "Legends of Lysoria".

Expanded Appearance

Prior to Beowulf's departure from Moonglow:

His hair was pure white, due to age and countless uses of magics. It hung neatly tied over his shoulder. He had a goatee that was always neatly kept. His face was firm, but light wrinkles had begun at the corner of his eyes.

Years of battles had taken their toll on his body. His shoulders were broad, but slightly hunched. His hands and knuckles were wrinkled. Scars covered his body, which seemed to always be covered by shadow black leather armor.
