Artifact Rarity is an item property that shows up on some artifacts. It is meant to give players an idea how rare the item is. Items with rarity 1 are supposed to be common while rarity 12 are extremely scarce. But in practice this numbering system is not reliable. Rarity 11 items are mostly Major Doom Artifacts which spawn many times per day.
