Catskills is the local shard for North American East, along with Chesapeake, Atlantic, Lake Superior, Great Lakes, Siege Perilous, and AOL Legends.
General
Catskills has one of the strongest community-oriented attitudes of the shards. Almost every week (and sometimes more often) there is a non-RP community hunt (Anne Nomilly tries to get one every Friday, typically meeting at the Yew Moongate in Trammel).
