Please explain how allowing players to use Powder of Fortification on imbued items would be so horrible?

One of the design goals for imbuing was to create a steady demand for the items produced. Also, with the power to customize items to exact specifications, there needed to be a significant downside, which is that the items won't last forever. So, by not allowing powder to be used on imbued items, the crafters get a continuous demand for crafted items (the best imbued weapons will be created by other crafting skills), while non-imbued items have something unique - longevity.

Will there be disadvantages with Throwing with distance..like if you're too close will you do less damage or none at all?

There are two things to keep in mind when using a throwing weapon, which are closely tied to distance to your target. Up close, you will find that it's harder to hit an opponent with a throwing weapon, while at the farthest ranges, your throwing weapon will have slowed down as it begins to return to you, so it will hit with less force and do less damage. Having high dexterity will help you hit up close, while having high strength will not only allow you to throw farther, but you'll hit harder at far ranges.

For middle distances, you actually get a bonus to both hit chance and damage, so the best throwers will carry more than one weapon and switch them out to adapt to the current tactical situation. It will take a bit more player skill (the kind between the keyboard and the chair) to be really good at throwing, but for those who master it, the damage and hit chance bonuses will give them an edge in combat.

Finally, if you've taken a look at the throwing weapons, you'll notice that they have sharp edges, and look as if you could do some serious damage up close. If you're proficient with swordsmanship, then not only do you not have a hit chance penalty in melee range, but you get a 5% bonus to hit chance.

The new expansion is mostly PVM any plans for pvp content?

The PvP content is centered on the Champ Spawn areas, which is why they will not be mirrored in Trammel so PvPers can also get some exclusive content. These Champ Spawns will be different than the traditional Champ Spawns as the environment will evolve as the spawn levels. From these environmental changes, players will gain access to interactive items/tasks, new unique loot, and you will even have a chance of taking home some of the environment as souvenir.

How will the powerscrolls for imbuing and mysticism be obtained, via questing, champs, or...?

Imbuing powerscrolls are obtained through a quest. Mysticism and Throwing powerscrolls can be obtained through Champ Spawns in both the Abyss and Felucca.

Can someone please fix the Imbuing gump to make Reimbue Last (or whatever its named, can't remember right now) more like Make Last in the crafting (i.e, Tailoring, Smithing, etc.) gumps?

Changes are still being made to the imbuing gump including the option you mentioned. Reimbue Last will allow a player to reimbue the last item with the same property at the same intensity.
