Friend of the Fey

Friend of the Fey is the first quest in a Quest Chain, or a series of smaller quests, each of which must be completed in order to successfully complete the chain. This particular quest chain, when completed, allows a character to cast the Spellweaving spell Summon Fey and rewards a Summon Fey scroll.

This quest is given by the following NPC in Heartwood.

Synaeva the Arcanist

Note: Arielle the pixie, located in Ilshenar, gives the last quest in this chain.

Even if you are able to obtain the scroll elsewhere, you must complete this quest before you may cast it.

Description

"The children of Sosaria understand the dedication and commitment of an arcanist--and will, from time to time offer their friendship. If you would forge such a bond, first seek out a goodwill offering to present. Pixies enjoy sweets and pretty things."

Synaeva the Arcanist Location

For the Friend of the Fey quest you need to go to the arcanist area in Heartwood and seek out Synaeva the Arcanist. She will ask you for 1 set of Beads, which can be obtained from an NPC jeweler, and a Jar of Honey, which can be obtained from an NPC baker. Once these items have been toggled as quest items and returned to Synaeva, she will give you a Gift for Arielle and Part II of the quest chain, the Token of Friendship quest.

For the Token of Friendship quest, go to Spirituality moongate in Ilshenar and seek out Arielle the Fey near the forest pool to the north (i.e., where all of the pixies and the unicorn spawn). She will accept your gift and give you a new quest called Alliance.

Alliance requires you to kill 20 Reapers and return to Arielle. Reapers can be found in abundance near the Justice moongate in Ilshenar. Once you slay them and return to Arielle, she will give you Summon Fey as your reward.
