The Helm of Spirituality is a helmet part of the Virtue Armor Set that was introduced as a 8th Anniversary gift. It is dedicated to UO's first year, September 1997 to September 1998. You can use a 8th Anniversary Token to claim one. During the 9th Anniversary, Heritage Tokens were given out which could also be used to claim a helm. As part of the 10th Anniversary, it also drops in the anti-virtue dungeons.
Lore
At the beginning, the adventurer who would become the Avatar defeated the wizard Mondain and shattered the Gem of Immortality, bringing the facets of Britannia into being. To commemorate this event, the artisans of Britannia have begun work on a suit of armor that celebrates the virtues the Avatar stood for. This first piece embodies the virtue of Spirituality, which encompasses all three principles of Truth, Love and Courage.
