Hit Curse is an item property found on certain weapons introduced with Publish 60. A successful hit with such a weapon provides a percentage chance to trigger an effect similar to the magery spell Curse. The intensity ranges between 2% - 50%. On success there is a thirty second cooldown.
Versus a target with 0 Resisting Spells it drops its stats and - when targeted at a character - its resistances by 10 each for a duration of thirty seconds.
Versus a target with 120 Resisting Spells it hardly passes the resist check.
