One should not doubt the magical prowess of the savage shamans. Recognizable by the symbolic deer mask they wear. Shamans are very spiritual and often travel out into the wilderness to practice their arts. A shaman by herself can be very dangerous however it is recommended that one avoids groups of shamans, as they can pool their magic into deadly spells of mass destruction.

If the Shaman begins a dance, a check is done to see if 3 or more other Shaman's are nearby. When the dance is completed by all, the Savages cast a powerful group spell. (Chain Lightning, Mass Poison.) There is also a chance of an area spell of Greater Heal, which will heal all the Savages nearby.

Like other Savages, the Shaman has a substantial damage bonus against large tamed animals.
