The Sentinel's Guard is an Order Shield that can be obtained by slaying monsters in the Anti-Virtue Dungeons. Having killed enough creatures, a random Virtue Artifact will be placed directly into your backpack with the following system message:
"For your valor in defeating the fallen creature, you have been rewarded with a special artifact."
Although it is technically a level 11 artifact (the highest being 12), it not terribly valuable due to the low difficulty involved in acquiring it.
It is nearly identical to Lord Blackthorn's Exemplar.
