Warden of the Abyss was a Quest Chain for Gargoyle characters. It was offered for a limited time during the Spring of 2010.
It ran parallel to the Ranger of the Abyss quest chain, which was available for Human and Elf characters.
Broadly speaking, bot the Warden and Ranger quests revolved around the parallel desires of Queen Dawn of Britannia and Queen Zhah of Ter Mur to establish outposts in the Stygian Abyss Dungeon, to monitor the evils that camp there.
In in-game terms, this meant that the quest chains were contests, the prize of which was a housing plot inside the Dungeon.
