The "galleons" were ever only referred to as such, as opposed to just being another ship type, in the Town Hall where the booster was unveiled. In-game, the ship deeds and such just refer to them as (type)ship, so perhaps Galleons should just be combined with Boat. --Tancred RedStar 07:42, 25 September 2010 (PDT)

Even if they are not referred to as such in-game, the new ships are Galleon class. It is like saying an Ornament of the Magician is not a bracelet because it does not say bracelet on the item. I think it is fine to leave this article to explain what a Galleon is and what types are available in UO. - JC the Builder 08:42, 25 September 2010 (PDT)

Another thing bothering me is ship vs. boat. An old, grizzled navy man once told me boats can go onto ships and not ever the other way around. I know there's no mechanism of that sort in UO, but referring to the difference by size seems applicable. At this point, cat's been long out of the bag in UO and the distinction muddled. --Tancred RedStar 09:01, 25 September 2010 (PDT)
