The shadows of Britannia grow long, and may offer safety and cover to those with skill in Stealth. The person skilled in the ways of Stealth may learn to hide his movements.
==Using==
To use the Stealth skill to move silently throughout the lands:
* Dismount if you are mounted
* Hide by either using the [[Hiding]] skill, having the magery spell [[Invisibility]] cast on you, or drinking an [[Invisibility Potion]]
* Once you have hidden successfully, walk a step and stealthing will begin automatically

If successful, you can walk a small distance while remaining hidden. Your character appears gray to you as long as you remain hidden. Running, or any act that would normally reveal you from Hiding, also reveals you while using the Stealth skill.

The number of steps your character can take while using the Stealth skill is equal to your Stealth score divided by 5. So, if your Stealth skill is at 80, you will be able to take 16 steps before becoming unhidden.

Because stealthy movement requires a knowledge of hiding and moving within shadows, you must be very skilled in the art of hiding before you find success at stealthy movement. To begin learning Stealth, you must have a Hiding skill of 60 or greater.

Invisibility Potions can be crafted by Alchemists who have access to the elven city of Heartwood and have learned the proper recipe. It also requires 65.0 skill in the skill Alchemy and the materials: 4 Blood Moss, 1 Empty Bottle, and 3 Nightshade.

Slayer

The Slayer property is found on certain weapons, instruments, talismans, and spell books. This property will do the following when used in an offensive manner:
-Increases damage/success of all attacks on all monsters within that group.
-Slayer Weapons will do double damage to the monsters they are meant for.
-Slayer Spellbooks will cause most spells to do double damage to the monsters they are meant for.
-Slayer Instruments will increase your success chance by 20% when used on the creatures it is meant for.
-Slayer Instruments will decrease your success chance by 20% when used on the creatures from its opposing group.
-A successful use of a Slayer Weapon, Spellbook or Instrument will yield a little white flash on the monster

The Slayer property can be found as a rare drop in monster loot or crafted by a player when using a runic tool. Slayer instruments can only be found on monster loot. Slayer Spellbooks however can only be crafted by scribes using a scribe pen, and not necessarily a runic.

There are two types of slayers, Super Slayers and Lesser slayers. The Super Slayers cover large groups of racially similar creatures. There are seven different Super Slayers: [[Abyss Slayer|Abyss Slayer]], [[Arachnid Slayer|Arachnid Slayer]], [[Elemental Slayer|Elemental Slayer]], [[Fey Slayer|Fey Slayer]], [[Humanoid Slayer|Humanoid Slayer]], [[Reptilian Slayer|Reptilian Slayer]], and [[Undead Slayer|Undead Slayer]]. These super slayers cover a large group of different, but racially similar, monsters. The Lesser Slayers are creature specific. They will say the name of the creature then slayer.
