This timeline is designed for players returning to UO who need a a quick summery of additions to the game since they left.
==2008==
===July===
* [[Publish 54]] included many faction changes
* Faction players can now have beneficial acts performed on them in Trammel rulesets
* Enemy faction murderers now appear orange, over-riding their normal red status
===September===
* [[Publish 55]] introduced new [[Veteran Rewards]] for many years and several for 10th year
* Added red healers around almost all moongates
* Spellbooks can now be [[Disarm]]ed and can be equiped with the [[Equip Last Weapon]] macro
===October===
* [[Publish 56]] has many changes for [[Factions]], including new enhanced artifacts and kill point bonuses
* [[War of Shadows]] begins with monsters invading in Trammel, triggered by Faction players capturing Felucca cities
* A [[Vending Penalty]] has been added preventing players from avoiding vendor fees

===December===
* [[Publish 57]] added new [[Champion Spawn Artifacts]] for all champions
* New balms and lotions can be stolen from monsters using the [[Stealing]] skill
