The '''Ophidian Healer''' was a new variety of the [[Ophidian|Ophidian race]] that was first seen during the final stages of the [[Ophidian War]]. As they have not been seen since that time, intelligence on them is sketchy. Their name bespeaks their function. During the war, any in-roads made against the Ophidians would be easily lost if an Ophidian Healer was about. In response to the emergence of the Healers, they became paramount targets. The strategy was effective and allowed most shards to rout the invaders.
