The [[Shuriken]], Japanese for "hand released blade," is a traditional Japanese concealed weapon that was generally used for throwing, and sometimes stabbing or slashing. In [[UO]], it is a ranged weapon that can be [[poison|poisoned]]. Like the [[Fukiya]], anyone can use it if they have one hand free. However, Grandmaster Ninjas can use them while equipped with a two-handed weapon.

To use Shuriken, a stocked leather ninja belt must be worn.

Shurikens have a range up to 10 tiles. However, it is recommended that 3 tiles is best.
