Bane Chosen is a faction introduced with the In the Shadow of Virtue - Rise of the Bane Chosen event. Their army attacked the Ophidians with:
Bane Chosen Recruits
Bane Chosen Hound Masters and their Hell Hounds
Bane Chosen Dragon Riders and their Bane Dragons
Their motives for the attack are summarized by the Lieutenant John of the Bane Chosen army with the words:
We seek to take back the land of Sosaria from the uncivilized races, such as the Ophidians. The Ophidians are a vile race. I lost several members of my family when they attacked Britannia.
