Bane Chosen is a faction introduced with the In the Shadow of Virtue - Rise of the Bane Chosen event. Their army attacked the Ophidians with:

• Bane Chosen Recruits
• Bane Chosen Hound Masters and their Hell Hounds
• Bane Chosen Dragon Riders and their Bane Dragons

Their motives for the attack are summarized by the Lieutenant John of the Bane Chosen army with the words:

We seek to take back the land of Sosaria from the uncivilized races, such as the Ophidians. The Ophidians are a vile race. I lost several members of my family when they attacked Britannia.
