Berserk

In situations of great danger, a Gargoyle's natural ferocity will take over, granting speed and power at the cost of defenses.

Beserk (or Beserking) is a racial ability to be seen in the Gargoyle Race as part of the Ultima Online: Stygian Abyss expansion. Initially, at least, it will allow those playing Gargoyles to engage in a higher damage-dealing mode at the expense of defensive capability, perhaps similar to the Chivalry spell of Divine Fury.
