[[Catskills]] has one of the strongest community-oriented attitudes of the [[shard]]s. Almost every week (and sometimes more often) there is a non-RP community hunt (Anne Nomily tries to get one every Friday, typically meetin at the Yew Moongate in Trammel). Community hunts range from [[peerless]] hunts, to [[dungeon]] crawls (sometimes naked, sometimes armored), to champ spawns (both Felucca and non-[[Felucca]] ones), to just about anything you could do and call it a hunt. There are also many RP-oriented events, many (though not all) of which even non-[[RP]]ers can enjoy.

For those interested in RP, there are groups in the Aegis area (SE of the [[Trammel]] [[Yew]] [[Moongate]]), Inethria (north of the road between Yew and [[Vesper]], as if you were heading towards [[Wrong]]), and many other areas. The RP is mostly focused around gatherings and select strategical actions rather than battles, so those whose desire is mostly in the PvP aspects of RP may not enjoy the shard (though [[PvP]] does occur in RP on the shard).

General

Catskills has one of the strongest community-oriented attitudes of the shards. Almost every week (and sometimes more often) there is a non-RP community hunt (Anne Nomily tries to get one every Friday, typically meetin at the Yew Moongate in Trammel). Community hunts range from peerless hunts, to dungeon crawls (sometimes naked, sometimes armored), to champ spawns (both Felucca and non-Felucca ones), to just about anything you could do and call it a hunt. There are also many RP-oriented events, many (though not all) of which even non-RPers can enjoy.

For those interested in RP, there are groups in the Aegis area (SE of the Trammel Yew Moongate), Inethria (north of the road between Yew and Vesper, as if you were heading towards Wrong), and many other areas. The RP is mostly focused around gatherings and select strategical actions rather than battles, so those whose desire is mostly in the PvP aspects of RP may not enjoy the shard (though PvP does occur in RP on the shard).
