A Cocoa Tree is tree that can produce Cocoa Pulp, a consumable resource used by cooks as a key ingredient to create chocolate confection preparations, namely Cocoa Butter and Cocoa Liquor. Cocoa trees do not grow on their own in the wild, but by players with Gardening.

Cocoa trees are grown from Fragrant Seeds and cannot be cross-pollinated.

The Chocolatiering branch of the Cooking skill was introduced with Publish 50 on St. Valentine's Day 2008 but cocoa pulp and cocoa trees did not appear until Publish 55, nearly 6 months later.
