Emote = To express a gesture via text.
When you emote within the UO client, your text will appear with a * on both sides of it.
E.g. *Smiles*, *Scratches his hair*, *Looks happy* etc.
Remember: It's proper role-play technique to speak as in the third person, not referring to yourself as 'he/she' in the emote.
