Mariah
Mariah is an important NPC in the history of Ultima Online, and of the single-player games upon which UO is based.
She is a Mage, the champion of the Virtue of Honesty and the City of Moonglow.
In the single-player games, she was a companion of the Avatar. In UO, she is an important person in Moonglow/Verity Isle and prominent member of the mages' guild. She was present at the trial of the Followers of Armageddon, and broke with the mages' guild to support Lord British at the start of the Factions wars.
