Message in a Bottle

On occasion, the lucky fisherman or Aquarium owner will discover a Message in a Bottle. Looking inside will reveal either a Water Stained SoS or, on a 1 in 25 chance, an Ancient SoS.

Travelling to the locaton the message specifies gives you the chance to attempt to fish a chest up from the ocean floor, though at [i]least[/i] 75 skill points are required for even a hope of succeeding.

While attempting to bring up the chest, you may on occasion bring up other bits of random junk with the special tag "Recovered from a Shipwreck". Such articles include:

• Footwear
• Cushions
• Shells
• Broken furniture
• Body parts
• Paintings

• A Painting Recovered From A Shipwreck (Still Life)
• A Painting Recovered From A Shipwreck (Large)

Eventually the chest (also including the shipwreck tag) will appear from the deep, typically containing the same modest loot associated with other Treasure Chests. Those recovered from an Ancient SoS, however, will contain a Fabled Fishing Net, with which one can attempt to tackle the legendary Leviathan. Certain decorative artifacts can only be recovered in this way.
