Mount Kendall is the large mountain just east of Minoc. It was a popular mining spot in the early days of the Ultima Online due to it's close proximity to the guard zone of the town as protection from roving and frequently raiding murderers.

After the advent of Ultima Online: Renaissance, where players could mine the whole expanse of the Trammel facet without fear of murderers, mining activity at Mount Kendall declined dramatically.

The origin of it's name is unclear, although it has been referred to by the name in vignettes on UO.com and generally adopted by players.
