Crafting
A Tinker can find it in the Tools category of the crafting menu. The pickaxe requires a skill of 40 and consumes 4 ingots in the process. It may hold its maker's mark and retains the color of the material from which it is made. Crafted versions can have their durability increased, via Powder of Fortifying, to a maximum of 255 and dyed with Pigments of Tokuno. Regular tinkered pickaxe have 50 uses, while Exceptional tinkered pickaxes have 100.
Weapon
As a weapon, it is a One-Handed Weapon for Swordsmanship practitioners with the following special moves.

Tool
As a tool, the pickaxe is used by both miners and treasure hunters. It is a consumable tool; once the item property of Uses Remaining reaches 0, the tool is destroyed. In addition to the two crafted versions mentioned above:
- A Gargoyle's Pickaxe has a random number of uses.
- Sturdy pickaxes come in either 150 or 200 use models. These are given as Blacksmithy BOD rewards
