On many Shards, Royal Guard Sashes were handed out by Event Moderators (EMs) to those players who participated in their events (see EM Event).
The colour varied by shard. Lake Superior's, for example were initially bright white. (Later, Lake Superior's EM handed out sashes of a different color.)
Not to be confused with the Royal Britannian Guard Sash given out during the Spring Cleaning 2008 event.
