A Scroll of Valiant Commendation was awarded to some players participating in the destruction of Exodus during the Call To Arms event. When used, it confers a +5 stat cap increase.

Distribution

It was first distributed as a random drop in a pool of damage dealers for doing sufficient damage to Exodus during the finale of the Call To Arms event. The exact number awarded per event is uncertain but probably ranges from 15-30. The event itself is considered epic in nature as it kills off a major character from Ultima lore and is run only once per shard June 22 - 25, 2012. The time and date for the running of the event on each shard was publicized on the Ultima Online website via a published schedule

After much outcry of missed opportunities and limited distribution, a Replica version of the scroll was introduced in the newly created Exodus Encounter. This version does not change its description to the one original version has and only adds a "Claimed By" item property after the scroll has been used.

Usage

Double-clicking the scroll adds five points to the character's stat cap. The scroll may be insured upon receiving and is neither blessed nor cursed. This is a bit unusual for such powerful consumable items as most player award items are blessed and power scrolls cursed. The scroll is not believed to be character-bound prior to usage. However, once used the item description changes from usage instructions to a personalized keepsake.
