The Redeemer is a Paladin Sword that was acquired by completing the Truth and Redemption quest. This event was a Prologue to the larger event arc Warriors of Destiny. A character had to locate Maxim the Seeker of Truth and turn in 25 Book of Truth to him. The Redeemer is the first paladin sword that characters have been able to get legally.
Although this was originally not the case, as of Publish 54 The Redeemer can be repaired. Powder of Fortifying cannot be used on it however.
