Encyclopedia
UOGuide could best be described as an encyclopedia. One of the goals of this site is to list all possible information about UO as impartially as possible. It won't be done overnight, but will grow slowly and steadily. This site grows mainly through community contributions. To that end, UOGuide can be edited by anyone (including you) at any time on almost any page.

At the moment, this site is in need of content in many areas. You can do several things to help enhance and grow UOGuide.
Register an Account
If you plan on editing UOGuide, it is recommended you register a user account. You can still edit most of the site while unregistered, but your IP address will be visible to everyone who visits the site. With a registered account, your username is visible but your IP is not.
Update/Add to Existing Page
On most pages you will see an "Edit" tab at the top. Click the link and it will take you to the source for that page. You can now update or add to the content for that page. If you need help with styling, make sure you reference the Help page. Once you think you are completed, click the "Show Preview" button near the bottom to review your work. - If a page with that name already exists, you will be taken to it. Add the information you were going to anyway if it is not already there.
- If no page with that name exists, search results will appear trying to find matches. At the top of the page it will say "There is no page titled "Page Name". You can create this page." Click the red "create this page" text to begin.
- You can also type the page name directly into your browsers URL bar. For example, if you want to create a page for Cookies, type www.uoguide.com/Cookies and visit that page. It will tell you the page does not exist, press the "edit this page" link to begin the page.
Promote UOGuide
When someone has a question about something and you know UOGuide has the answer, link them to the page. It is very easy to remember UOGuide pages because the URL structure is simple. For example, if someone wants to know about all the Spellweaving spells, link them to the Spellweaving page by giving them the url:
