It is a sad fact that dozens of great Ultima Online websites have gone offline over the years. In many cases their content is lost forever. Lets try and prevent that from happening.
Preservation Initiative
The goal of this program is to save and restore content from UO websites which no longer exist.
Contact should be attempted of website operators before putting their content on UOGuide.
One place to start would be the Wayback Machine. Lots of navigating through snapshots of sites that may/may-not have content due to the lack of data structure.
Target Websites
Here is a list of websites which appear inactive and could be in danger of going offline.
- www.uodeco.com - A decoration website that was last updated Oct 2008. Domain expires August 24, 2010. Mails have been sent to the emails available on the website, awaiting a response.
