Introduced in January of 2005, Captain Quacklebush's Cutlass is a minor artifact that can be found from doing Treasure Maps and from fighting Leviathans that are brought to the surface with Fabled Fishing Nets.
The Cutlass appears to be associated with Captain Quacklebush, an NPC never seen in-game but on occasion discussed.
