Feint, not faint!

The Feint special move was added during the Ultima Online: Samurai Empire expansion. Officially, the use of a Feint will grant you a defensive advantage over your primary opponent for a short time. Unofficially, feint cuts all damage, both melee and magical, dealt to you in half. The effect lasts for four to five seconds. This special move can be activated by setting a key macro for the appropriate primary or secondary weapon ability or double-clicking the icon in 2D. The icon will highlight red when activated.

  • Mana Cost: 30

Primary Weapons

Weapons with a primary ability of Mortal Strike require 70 or higher in the appropriate fighting skill and Tactics.

  • None

Secondary Weapons

Weapons with a secondary ability of Mortal Strike require 90 or higher in the appropriate fighting skill and Tactics.

Notes

  • Some forum posts state that it only is effective against physical damage.
