The Minotaur Spawn in Labyrinth Dungeon is the only known Champion Spawn without an altar. (See # Champion Spawn Altars. Simply by killing spawn near the back of the dungeon, stronger spawn will appear. E ach time the spawn levels there is a system message saying, "A minotaur captain barks an order to his fellow scouts, "Aid the others! Kill the invaders!"". Eventually Meraktus the Minotaur appears.

Merkatus is a powerful creature with an nasty area affect attack.

There are no known special rewards for completing this difficult spawn.
