Mistas is one of several ruined, formerly great cities of the Ilshenar Facet. (For example, also see Montor.)
Mistas is remarkable for a few things. The Juka and other evil beings affiliated with Lord Blackthorn have taken up residence there. There is a dungeon entrance in the north side, and in between the city and the dungeon is the famous Serpentine Passage wherein Centaurs (often farmed for arrows) and Serpentine Dragons spawn. There is a tavern just outside of it which, despite the occasional monster spawn, is used for RP on some shards as an active, player-run tavern.
