The Principles are a triad of tenets that form the foundations for the moral code known as the Way of the Avatar, or more simply, the Virtues.
The Principles are: Truth, Love, and Courage. Either by themselves, or in various combinations, they form the eight Virtues.
Truth
"If all else is imaginary then Truth is real"
The Word of Power for Truth is VER.
The principle of Truth is made manifest in the Book of Truth.
The Lycaeum is commonly associated with the Principle of Truth, and at one time housed an altar and eternal flame honoring this principle.
Love

The Word of Power for Love is AMO.
The principle of Love is made manifest in the Candle of Love.
Empath Abbey is commonly associated with the Principle of Love, and at one time housed an altar and eternal flame honoring this principle.
Courage

Other Moral Codes
In direct opposition of the Principles, are the Shadowlords and their ethics of the Anti-Principles, namely Falsehood, Hatred, and Cowardice.
The Gargoyle race offers a divergent view of the Principles, and refers to them as the Singularity- based on Control, Passion, and Diligence.
