The Vorpal Blade was a Repond-slaying kryss that dropped during the Magincia Invasion. It had damage increase and a Dexterity bonus, and was a a dark color.
The manufacturers of UO stated that the Blade had a unique ability to one-hit-kill "any NPC mobile," but if this ability has been seen in-game yet it has been on a creature that would die in one hit anyway, because no one has actually seen it in action.
The name seems to be derived from Dungeons and Dragons.
