Pet Dismount Ability

Question

Special move Dismount seems completely non functional on pets, what are the actual requirements for it to proc?

Answer

Parallax: These are the basic requirements for a pet to attempt to dismount a target:

  • The pet controller must not be mounted
  • The target must be mounted or in a mounted form
  • The pet controller must be nearby
  • The pet must have enough mana to perform the special move
  • The special move must successfully hit the target (parry, evasion, miss, etc.)

The other aspect that determines if a pet will attempt to dismount (or use any special move) is how many other abilities it has on it. A pet with only dismount, will only ever attempt to use dismount when it attempts a special move. If a pet has multiple special moves, a special ability, a magical ability, an aoe ability, etc., all of these will compete with each other to determine which ability/move the pet tries to use.

Pet Vendor Search

Question

Pet Vendors and Vendor Search: Could the pets on vendors show up on Vendor Search?

Answer

Bleak: Unfortunately, Pet Vendors and Vendor Search run on separate systems under the hood, and bringing them together would be a much larger project than it might seem. It's not on our current roadmap, but we appreciate the suggestion!

OSI Owned Houses

Question

Are there any plans for the OSI owned houses thats been sitting around for years?

Answer

Kyronix: If you contact in-game support and provide facet and X/Y coordinates they can forward those houses along for investigation.

Seasonal Event Carryover

Question

So, I know that the points will not be carried over into the next event . My question is, would any mushrooms we preserve be able to be turned in at the next event? (i.e. any mythicals that we do not complete for a mushroom hat)

Answer

Parallax: Due to the nature of how Spritelight works, only unpreserved mushrooms can be turned in to the vendor, so any leftover preserved ones won't be able to be turned in for points next year anyways (at least on the vendor). Specifically regarding Froggy and his desire for delectable delicacies, I'm sure he will be around next year to tempt adventurers with his proposals!

BOD System Overhaul

Question

Any plans to expand on or overhaul the bod system?

Answer

Kyronix: We've looked at systems like this in the past to add to the underlying "simulation" of being a crafter in a broader Britannian economy. Some of those systems made their way in to New Legacy S1. While we don't have any immediate plans to completely revamp the BOD systems, we continue to look at ways we can enhance the system.
