Luck and Dynamic Town Chests

Question

Does Luck impact loot on dynamic town chests such as gold or items? If so, how?
Is it determined at the time the chest is picked or when it is opened?

Answer

Kyronix: For random chests appearing in towns, luck does not play a role in the contents of the spawn.

Kangaroo Mounts

Question

Can we get some kangaroo mounts? Big Reds could be rideable and necro, Eastern Greys could be ninja.

Answer

Onifrk: As cool as that idea is, sadly the answer is no. Due to the limitations of the style of UO, we can't have hopping mounts.

Skill Cap Increase

Question

Is there any way we can increase the skill cap from 720 to something like 900 so we can have all crafting skills on one character?
Alternatively, could we get more +skill items (e.g., +20 tinkering gloves) or add crafting skills to the imbuing menu so we can imbue our own jewels for mules instead of constantly swapping via soulstones?

Answer

Kyronix: We have no plans to increase the skill cap beyond its current cap of 720. Generally speaking, character diversity is a core design feature of UO character development. You can be a master of some, but not all!

Plant Gump QoL

Question

Are there any plans to upgrade the plant gump to something more user-friendly, such as an option to collect all seeds from one plant with a single click?

Kyronix: In 2024 we introduced the Enchanted Gardening Shears veteran reward to assist with harvesting of seeds and resources from gardening plants.

Historical House Signs

Question

Are you still able to obtain a historical sign for houses placed over ten years ago? If so, how would one go about getting one?

Answer

Kyronix: Yes, you can email mesanna@broadsword.com with the house location (facet and X, Y, Z obtained using a sextant — do not send Latitude and Longitude coordinates) and shard.
