The Scavenger Agent is a feature in the Enhanced Client. The Scavenger Agent can be assigned a list of items to pick up from the ground. Once the list is made, activate the agent by pressing the key binding used to display Object Handles. Control+Shift is the default key binding used to display Object Handles. The Scavenger Agent will begin picking up all the nearby items assigned to it. The Scavenger Agent is handy for picking up randomly spawning reagents, harvested cotton, gold, items commonly dropped when crafting, and anything else you don't want to have to mouse over and manually move into your backpack.
Press ESC and select Agents to start building a scavenger. To set a scavenger agent as default, select the non-default agent and push the green "+" button to the left of the drop-down agent select menu on the Agent Settings window. If you select a default agent, the green "+" button will be replaced by the text "Default".
No icon exists for scavenger agents. As such, setting different scavenger agents as default via the Agent Settings window is the only graphical method to change scavenger agents.
Information on backing up, exporting, or importing agents can be found on the agents overview page.
Example Scavenger: Champ spawn gold
To create a Scavenger Agent, push ESC and choose Agents Settings
On the Agents Settings window push the small "+" icon to the right of the dropdown menu to Add Scavenger.
On the Agents Settings window dropdown menu select the new scavenger (it won't have a name yet). To remove a scavenger, select the scavenger and click the "-" key.
On the Agents Settings window, with the new scavenger selected, click rename to rename the scavenger to something you like (I set mine to gold, to be used at Champ spawns).
On the Agents Settings window dropdown menu select the newly renamed scavenger (Gold).
Open the container you would like the scavenged items to be placed in, click Set Default Container from the Agents Settings window, and click on the container icon (not the open container). The container should be open when set as default, otherwise the client may not register the setting.
When the destination container has been registered, Un-Set Default Container will appear in the Agents Settings window.
Add By Type the items you would like to be Scavenged.
If you would like to remove an item from a scavenger, click on the item in the list and a dialogue box will appear asking if you'd like to remove that item.
In User Settings> Options> set Object Handles to Dynamic Objects or Items Only and set the number of Object Handles you wish to appear.
Go to where some of the items you would like scavenged are on the ground and hold down the key for Object Handles (Control+Shift by default) and the game should start picking up the items off the ground and placing them in the destination container.
Have fun and enjoy the ease of picking up small items and hard to reach spawned reagents with the Scavenger Agent!
