Fear Essence is the reward of the quest Essence of Fear given out by the Ophidian Bounty Collector for those who have more than 2000 loyalty points towards Ophidian side during the In the Shadow of Virtue - Rise of the Bane Chosen.
When used against a player, there is chance for it to paralyze the player for a very short amount of time. Having a cooldown time of 60 seconds, one Fear Essence can be used per minute.
