Warriors of Desinty is the name given by the UO manufacturers for what is described as a long-term, epic scenario or event cycle that heralds the coming of the Shadowlords. EA's announced plans call for this cycle to continue through at least Summer of 2008.
The name comes from one of the single-player games upon which UO is based, specifically "Ultima 5: Warriors of Destiny."
The Magincia Invasion and Mad Mage events were part of this scenario.
