The Dread Pirate Hat is a Tricorne Hat classified as a Traditional Minor Artifact. It can be obtained by either killing Leviathans, or by extracting chests located via level 6 (Ingenious) Treasure Maps.
It comes with +10 to a random combat skill - either Archery, Swordsmanship, Fencing, Mace Fighting or Tactics.
In addition to this it also has two random Item Properties attached to it. These can include additional skill bonuses, or enchanced resistances.
It can potentially be a very powerful form of headgear.
