A Cauldron is a large, metal pot used ostensibly for cooking or alchemical purposes, but in reality is just a decorative item. It is obtained as a reward item from Grizelda the Hag by completing the The Hag's Assistant quest.
During Spring Cleaning 2008, it could be turned in to Buford the Collector in Britain in exchange for 250 points.
It has no special properties nor can it be used as a container.
