Compassion is a virtue and an Ilshenar moongate.

Escorting NPCs or Prisoners to safety (gate travel or walk it im afraid). you will be rewarded with 500gp and a point in compassion.

You can only gain from 5 NPCs per 24 hours.

Initial research shows that you need to escort

  • 1 NPC per dot at level one compassion
  • 2 NPC per dot at level two compassion
  • 3 NPC per dot at level three compassion.

so naturally this can take a while. stick with it and the rewards pay off. At each level of compassion you will resurrect people with more hit points, (not confirmed with noble sacrifice or bandage healing).

  • Level one: 20% of their hit points restored
  • Level two: 40% of their hit points restored
  • Level three 80% of their hit points restored.

Having compassion on the field seems well worth it. its stops res killings from both players and monsters. and at 25-30 minutes a day for a few weeks. its not really that much of an effort.
