Juggernaut Set
One of only three weapon item sets, the Juggernaut Set is a sword and shield that spawns as separate pieces in the loot of Peerless monsters. It consists of the Evocaricus Sword and Maleki's Honor Shield. In addition to changing to the color of Valorite, the assembled set confers the following bonuses:
- Defense Chance Increase 10%;
- Swing Speed Increase 35%;
- Strength Bonus 10;
- Self Repair 3;
Maleki's Honor is a Metal Kite Shield. Absent the assembled modifications, the resistances are fair; and with a low to moderate Strength Requirement, a mid-level character may wield the shield alone.
Evocaricus is a Viking Sword, and thus swings slowly despite the Swing Speed Increase from having the set. Due to this failing, the Juggernaut Set is rarely used in either PvP or PvE combat. However, its rarity makes it expensive and sought.
The set has been used with success against Peerlesses.
Both pieces of this set are considered "rare" and should spawn only from Peerlesses, bosses in the Doom Gauntlet, Champions, and certain event specific monsters such as the etheral forms of the Shadowlords.
