Shard of the Crystal of Duplicity was an event item obtained from the corpses of Virtuebane in Magincia during the In the Shadow of Virtue event cycle in late March, 2011. It was blessed with a tag:
(This piece is unstable and will turn to dust unless united with a larger shard)
The shards disappeared after two days, thus it was not advised to trade or buy them. On some shards, EMs collected the shards back from the players.
