The "galleons" were ever only referred to as such, as opposed to just being another ship type, in the Town Hall where the booster was unveiled. - Even if they are not referred to as such in-game, the new ships are Galleon class. It is like saying an Ornament of the Magician is not a bracelet because it does not say bracelet on the item.
