The Cold Forged Blade is a named Elven Spellblade and thus a one-handed fencing weapon. A Blacksmith can find it in the Bladed category of the crafting menu. Crafted versions can have their durability increased, via Powder of Fortifying, to a maximum of 255 and can be dyed with Pigments of Tokuno.
Crafting of this type of blade requires the use of Peerless ingredients. Because of the modifications associated with this weapon, it is considered a Blacksmithy Artifact. Its properties cannot be enhanced with the use of Runic Hammers during creation.
The creation of a Cold Forged Blade requires:
- the Mondain's Legacy expansion;
- a Blacksmithy skill of 70 or better;
- the recipe; and
- following ingredients
