Can someone confirm or refute my understanding that ethereal mounts do not possess the extra abilities that the tamed versions do (i.e., e-beetle=not a pack animal; e-ki-rin=female riders, no magic attack; e-uni=male rider, no poison cure; etc.)? --Ceruleus 10:01, 25 April 2008 (PDT)

All Ethereal mounts are exactly the same except Paroxysmus' Swamp Dragon which gives the same bonus as non-exceptional barded swamp dragon. - JC the Builder 15:55, 25 April 2008 (PDT)

Never having owned one I cannot say for sure, but I don't think Paroxysmus' Swamp Dragon is anything like an ethereal mount. I've resurrected pets by that name many times. I get the impression that once initially claimed, they act the same way as any other bonded pet. Is this correct?
