The crafting Blacksmiths' final selection in the Shield Category is the Order Shield. It requires a skill of 85 to create and consumes 25 ingots in the process. The Order Shield may hold its maker's mark and retains the color of the material from which it is made. Crafted versions can have their durability increased, via Powder of Fortifying, to a maximum of 255 and dyed with Pigments of Tokuno.
Notes
- This shield has a high Strength Requirement.
- Prior to November 2003, Order Shields had special functionality. Only members of an Order guild could equip such shields. At one point, non-member who attempted to equip an Order Shield would suffer damage, and even death, when the shield exploded and disappeared. Prior to Publish 21, Order Shields could not be crafted.
